7. GST (please read carefully)

All art will be sold GST inclusive. The price an artist quotes must include GST. We remit any GST collected from the sale of art to the Australian Taxation Office.

There are three categories of artists:

1. No ABN or unable to quote an ABN (these categories will apply to most youth art entrants): artists MUST submit a 'Statement by Supplier' Form. Artists will be remitted the sale price less GST. If a 'Statement by a Supplier' Form is not supplied, 48.5% of the sale price will be retained and remitted to the ATO.

2. Artists who quote an ABN but are not GST registered: artists will be remitted the sale price less GST.

3. Artists with and ABN and who are GST registered: artists will be remitted the sale price plus GST and the artist is responsible for remitting the GST component to the ATO.

8. INSURANCE

All care will be taken and security will be provided, however no liability will be accepted for any loss or damage during transit or at the hall. Costs relating to additional insurance will be at the artist's expense.

9. COPYRIGHT

Copyright of the artworks remains with the artist. The Festival Committee may reproduce art pieces for promotional purposes only unless advised otherwise by the artist. This may be either in print or electronic media.

10. SELECTION

The Festival Committee will endeavour to display all works submitted. However due to limited space and because the building is heritage listed, this may not always be possible and a selection process may be required. Please note that works over 1m x 1m square may not be displayed because of space restrictions.

12. COLLECTION

Artists will be contacted by the Festival Committee if their work sells during the weekend. All unsold and NFS works must be collected between:

4 pm and 5 pm Sunday 5th November 2017.

Please note: all works selected for display must remain on show for the duration of the Exhibition.

12. PAYMENT

Payment from any sale will be forwarded to the artist via bank transfer no later than two months after the Festival.
